The successful applicant will have a total of 3 years’ experience traditional and digital marketing communications


Key Functions will include:
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager in assistant capacity in supporting the team with marketing and business development activities
  • Assisting with the production of marketing material and literature
  • Coordination the production of wide range of marketing online and offline communications
  • Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions as required  as well as the collation of information for promotional literature
  • Writing articles and promotional materials for the company
  • Preparing written materials for the website in collaboration with team members
  • Uploading marketing materials to the relevant portals, groups and social media sites
  • Maintenance of the marketing functions documentation, databases and provision of monthly reports
Location:The role holder will be based in Dakar, Senegal and will from time to time be required to travel locally/internationally on assignment.

Qualities & Skills: This position requires a well-organized, self-motivated individual with strong prioritization skills to effectively and efficiently carry out the desired duties and responsibilities.

Other relevant skills include:
·         At least 3 years’ experience in traditional and digital marketing communications 
·         Bilingual French and English communication skills
·         Experience building online and offline audiences in francophone Africa
·         Thorough knowledge of SEO techniques to maximize traffic to our sites
·         Self-driven, independent thinker
·         Attention to detail and thoroughness in work
Education: Bachelor’s level degree (or higher) in marketing/communications
