MicroSave is a market leader in providing consulting services to Mobile Network Operators (MNO’s) and Financial Service Providers (FSP’s) globally.  Our clients include leading commercial banks, telecommunication companies, SACCOs, microfinance institutions and multilateral and bi-lateral donors. With increasing demand for our services, MicroSave is currently looking for a creative, talented and experienced individual to join its team in Kenya under the Réseau Helix domain on a consultancy basis to launch its marketing.
 
Key Functions will include:
  • Develop & drive the marketing strategy for Réseau Helix, , MicroSave and the knowledge portal to create awareness
  • Execute a compelling marketing campaign for Helix courses, plan their launch and develop expertise about potential customers
  • Produce content for website and knowledge portal to reach target customers
  • Conduct market research to keep ahead of trends & competition
  •  Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed across all platforms:  Twitter, LinkedIn, What’s App!, Viadeo, website, knowledge portal
  • Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing customer feedback and driving interaction on the various channels.

Qualities & Skills: This position requires a well-organized, self-motivated individual with strong prioritization skills to effectively and efficiently carry out the desired duties and responsibilities.

Other relevant skills include:
  • Bilingual French/English
  • Proven experience in product marketing within a Francophone market with a successful track record
  • Should possess the knowledge and experience in link building and viral strategies with a deep knowledge of digital marketing principles.
  • The candidate should have a proven track record of launching new products or services in West Africa and driving strategies proven by testing and metrics. 
  • Should possess strong analytical, creative, communication, listening skills
  • Should be enthusiastic about the potential of DFS in francophone marketings.
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics a must.
 
Education:  BA or Masters in Marketing or Communications, MBA preferred, CIM a plus
 
Compensation: A competitive compensation rate shall be negotiated with the right candidate. Please state current and expected payment rate.
