The role holder will be based in Nairobi-Kenya with frequent local and international travel

The successful applicant will have a total of at least 5 years’ experience in risk and fraud management with 2 years leading Cyber Security/Forensics/Internal Audit or similar consultancy engagements for financial institutions and banks with a demonstrable track record of success.

Qualities & Skills: This position requires a seasoned professional with the experience of working with private sector financial institutions and with donor organizations.
 
Other relevant skills include:
·         Ability to build strong relationships
·         Strong attention to detail
·         A strong field orientation and proven inter personal skills
·         Good spoken & written English 
·         Experience of developing proposals and concept notes
·         Strong understanding of fundamental financial inclusion concepts 
·         Knowledge of French/ Arabic/ Spanish will be an added advantage 
 
Education: Bachelor degree in Commerce/Banking/Finance/Accounting/Information Systems.
Other professional qualifications in line with specialisation e.g. Global Association of Risk Professional (GARP) and Institute of Information Systems Audit and Controls Association (ISACA).
 
Compensation: A competitive compensation will be negotiated with the right candidate, commensurate with experience and skills.
