The role holder will be based in Kampala-Uganda with frequent local and international travel

The successful applicant will have a total of at least 6 years’ experience in MNO operations and retail banking and/or microfinance at middle to senior level of management preferably in bank operations, mobile money services, customer service and business development.


Qualities & Skills: This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in technical assistance delivery in banking & financial services as well as digital financial services.
Other relevant skills include:
-Ability to lead assignments involving diverse project teams and work with minimal supervision
-Ability to develop client relationships and win business
-Ability to develop and implement training programmes
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
-A strong field orientation and proven inter personal skills
-Leadership skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, people-management skills 
-Excellent spoken and written English
Education:  Master’s degree (or higher) in Banking/Business Administration/ Marketing / Accounting/ Economics / Sociology or related field.  Other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
Compensation: A competitive compensation will be negotiated with the right candidate, commensurate with experience and skills.
