Mitul leads Government and Social Impact practice at MicroSave. In his present role, he works with governments, policy makers, development agencies, think tanks, academic institutions, NGOs and directly with citizens to improve delivery of government to people (G2P) services and benefits, focused on people at the bottom of the pyramid. His work involves improving  public policy choices through evidence based, bottom up, human centred approach; reengineering and digitising processes to deliver efficient and targeted services and benefits;  conducting pilots to evaluate options; supporting implementation; monitoring and evaluation.
Prior to joining MicroSave, Mitul was heading management consulting services practice at Infosys focused on Smart Cities, Telecom, Energy and Utilities sectors in India. He was responsible for P&L, business development, sales, go to market strategy, service offerings, project delivery, recruitment etc. Most of his work at Infosys was at the intersection of policy, strategy and technology aimed at solving socio-economic problems involving energy, water, agriculture, urbanisation (cities, transportation, healthcare, education, governance etc.) and telecom. He led variety of projects in the field of policy definition, innovation, market entry strategy, deal advisory, partnership strategy, process optimisation, smart city strategy & planning, smart grid strategy, performance metrics definition, digital solution design, business case definition, IT strategy, IT due diligence, capability assessment, change management and program management. He also conceptualised and led large scale, technology enabled business transformation programs for the government and private sector. 
He has worked and managed teams across India, Middle East, Philippines, US, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
