Anne Hofer Camara

Anne Hofer Camara works as a Principal Consultant in MicroSave’s Réseau Helix domain. She has over 25 years of working experience in finance, comprising 12 years in the banking sector in France and 13 years in financial inclusion in eight African countries, mostly in the Economic Community of West African States (UEMOA) zone.

Anne has most recently worked in a microinsurance feasibility study. This was a project funded by Adam Smith International in DRC to develop microinsurance products and ecosystem for the private sector. Her areas of expertise include project management, program design and evaluation, M&E, microfinance, rural finance, microinsurance, and financial sector development. She specializes in institutional assessment, technical assistance design, and product design.

Before joining MSC, Anne was a Director, Financial Inclusion Program at Mercy Corps in Mali and Niger integrating new technologies (B2W solution) to improve financial inclusion via the private sector (MFI and MNO) and to develop accessible, inclusive, and appropriate digital financial products for the rural client. She holds a postgraduate diploma with specialization in financial market activity and control from the Lyon 2 University in 1990. She is fluent in French and English.
