Wanjiku supports the domain in primary and secondary research, data analysis, consumer insights, product development, and other consulting assignments.
Before joining MSC, Wanjiku worked for over a year with Bank of Africa’s subsidiary in Kenya, a Tier II financial institution where she analyzed alternate banking channels performance by designing, creating, and implementing reports and dashboards. At Bank of Africa, she prepared regular performance reports submitted internally and at the group level. She would also conduct industry performance reviews and market research on competitor activities, while she came up with new ideas to ensure that the bank is at par with the market demands.
Wanjiku reviewed products performance and penetration in the market. She worked to improve the customer experience with the Product Development team at Bank of Africa by providing analytical feedback on customer’s expectation from meeting sessions held with customers using different banking channels, this helped to boost the uptake of different channels, enhanced customer stickiness and ultimately led to revenue growth. Wanjiku holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Kenyatta University and is currently a student of MSc. Development Finance at KCA University. She is proficient in English and Swahili.
