Agent diaries

MSC conducted a pilot research study in India and Indonesia on CICO agents using the diaries research methodology. The research intends to pilot-test the diaries approach for CICO agents and unpack how agents manage their DFS and non-DFS businesses, the agency business’s profitability, how they manage liquidity, gender nuances, and challenges that agents face.

In Indonesia, we covered banking agents, G2P agents, and male and female Fintech agents. In India, we covered both male agents and BC Sakhis—female agents of self-help groups.
