PFM diagnostic in Nigeria and Uganda

Overview

India has been a pioneer in direct benefit transfer systems thanks to the expansion of financial services, digital identification, and mobile phones. Many countries are keen to learn from India’s experience and replicate its model to better delivery for their people. 

MSC, based on its expertise in this area, is supporting governments in Africa with adapting these models. In Nigeria and Uganda, we conducted a comprehensive diagnostic of the current practices and are developing solutions to strengthen their public financial management systems.
