As the Chief Partnerships Officer at Caribou, I build partnerships that help organizations use technology and innovation to create meaningful social impact. My work focuses on connecting funders, implementers, and industry leaders to address challenges in digital inclusion, financial services, and sustainable development.
My career in social impact took shape at MSC through the Helix Institute of Digital Finance. What started as a short-term consulting role to support the development of the Helix brand and communications strategy quickly evolved into a full-time technical role. I developed curriculum for Helix’s flagship training programs, served as faculty for eight courses, and advised mobile money and agent banking providers across Africa and Asia.
One experience I am particularly proud of from my time at MSC was helping develop the Helix Institute while working alongside Mike McCaffrey. I delivered training programs in Bali, provided in-house advisory support to banks and mobile network operators in Tanzania, Pakistan, and Nigeria, and worked with clients across diverse markets. Every project challenged me to learn, adapt, and expand my perspective.
Those experiences sparked my passion for social impact and set the direction for my career. I am delighted to see MSC bringing alumni together through this initiative. The relationships, experiences, and lessons from my time here continue to shape my work today, and I look forward to reconnecting with former colleagues and celebrating the many journeys that began there.
