I began my professional journey at MSC, where I had the opportunity to work across multiple markets, including India, Nepal, the Philippines, and Indonesia. At MSC, I advised banks, mobile network operators, governments, microfinance institutions, and other financial service providers on digital financial services, agent banking, product development, market research, and financial inclusion. Those experiences laid the foundation for a career dedicated to expanding access to financial services and using technology to drive inclusion.
Over the past two decades, my work has spanned financial services, consulting, development, and public policy. After MSC, I joined the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), where I have taken on increasingly senior leadership roles and currently serve as Head of Policy Management. In this role, I lead work on digital financial services, fintech, consumer empowerment and market conduct, SME finance, and related policy areas, working closely with financial regulators and central banks across more than 90 countries. I have contributed to policy frameworks and practical guidance on FinTech, digital payments, open finance, consumer protection, competition, and inclusive digital infrastructure. I have also led major regional and global initiatives, mobilized funding from international development partners, and helped regulators translate emerging technologies and market developments into effective policy and regulation.
When I look back, my time at MSC was much more than the start of my career. It was a period of immense learning, exposure, and growth. My work across diverse markets alongside talented colleagues gave me a deep appreciation of the challenges and opportunities in advancing financial inclusion. The experience shaped the way I approach problem-solving, collaboration, and impact. These lessons continue to guide my work today.
I remain passionate about using technology, innovation, and evidence-based policy to build financial systems that are more inclusive, competitive, trusted, and resilient.
