After graduating from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), I began my professional journey at MSC, where I worked on financial inclusion, digital finance, and development programs across India and Bangladesh. Those early years gave me a strong foundation in development work and exposed me to the power of solutions that address complex social challenges.
Over the years, my career has taken me across diverse domains, including financial inclusion, agrifood systems, impact investing, communications, and strategic initiatives. After MSC, I joined Omnivore, an agrifood-focused impact investment firm, where I spent five years building and leading its communications function before moving into strategic initiatives. In that role, I led Omnivore’s Technical Assistance Facility, ecosystem programs, partnerships, and impact initiatives. My work ranged from supporting portfolio companies and managing grant-funded programs to building industry platforms and developing initiatives at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and impact. Today, I lead Future Agriculture Leaders of India (FALI), a Section 8 organization dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in agriculture and agri-enterprise.
My time at MSC significantly shaped the way I approach work, problem-solving, and collaboration. The opportunity to work on development programs across India and Bangladesh gave me a deep appreciation of both grassroots realities and system-level change. Equally memorable were the people I worked with, colleagues and mentors whose insights, encouragement, and friendship continue to influence me long after my time at MSC.
I am delighted to see this alumni initiative bringing together former colleagues from across generations and geographies. The MSC network is one of shared purpose, learning, and relationships that endure well beyond our time at the organization. I look forward to reconnecting with fellow alumni, learning about their journeys, and celebrating the many paths that have emerged from our shared beginnings at MSC.
