After completing a rewarding stint at MSC, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey driven by a passion for social impact. Over the past eight years, I have worked at the intersection of sustainability and climate action, where I have helped communities and institutions translate ambition into meaningful outcomes. Through SparkLiv, the sustainability venture I cofounded, we partner with communities and public and private organizations across awareness, advisory, and on-the-ground action. Our work spans behavior change programs, sustainability research and advisory, waste diversion and resource recovery, recycling and upcycling, and impact and emissions assessment.
My time at MSC shaped the foundation for this journey, where I learned the value of combining innovation, collaboration, and purpose to create lasting impact. I belong to the phase when the organization was known as MicroSave and was beginning its evolution into MSC. What I remember most are the numerous journeys across cities and countries with colleagues while delivering assignments and serving clients. Together, we executed projects, earned strong client feedback, and tackled challenges in unfamiliar environments. Yet the memories that have stayed with me are not only professional. Some colleagues became fellow morning walkers, others my companions in the search for vegetarian food in unfamiliar places, and many became fellow explorers in new cities. Over time, they became friends and family away from home.
The journey began with inspiring seniors who patiently mentored a then-young professional like me and later evolved into opportunities to mentor colleagues who joined after me. Even today, whenever I meet a former colleague, our conversations inevitably return to those shared experiences and adventures. The bonds forged through years of collaboration and travel remain among my most cherished memories.
I believe this alumni page is a wonderful way to keep the past relevant today. For alumni like me, it offers an opportunity to stay connected to the spirit of MSC while reconnecting with fellow alumni. My very best wishes for this wonderful initiative.
