Sonakshi Saluja is a Senior Manager in MSC’s Climate Change and Sustainability domain, India. She is an economist with more than 11 years of experience across climate change, energy transition, gender, and economic development. Her experience spans engagements with national and international think tanks, funding organizations, and government agencies in India, Germany, and the United States. Her areas of expertise include climate mitigation and adaptation, policy research and analysis, program management, stakeholder engagement, and gender integration in climate-related developmental projects. She specializes in the design and implementation of climate resilience and just transition programs. She also has expertise in primary and secondary research and the delivery of evidence-based solutions to national and local governments and communities.

Sonakshi holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2014. She is fluent in English and Hindi, with an intermediate knowledge of German.
