Mary is a Manager at MSC’s Climate Change and Sustainability Capability, Africa. She is based in Nairobi and has more than 13 years of experience. She has implemented projects with non-governmental organizations, community-based organizations, and government and consulting firms in East Africa and Nigeria. Her areas of expertise are research, strategic planning, business planning, project design, proposal writing, project management, monitoring and evaluation, team management, and reporting. She specializes in climate change adaptation and mitigation, energy policy, clean cooking and lighting, agroforestry, and nature-based solutions.

Before she joined MSC, Mary was a Project Manager at Sustainable Business Consulting and the Shared Value Hub, where she supported portfolio management, team leadership, business development, project implementation, reporting, quality assurance, budget tracking, and monitoring and evaluation. She is a certified project management professional who has a Master’s degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agroforestry and Rural Development.
