Lecturer in Global Urbanism & Urban Development at the Uni of Manchester. Interested in urban worlds of work and employment, particularly for young people. She spent a year living and working in Uganda as Head of BRAC's Research and Evaluation Unit where she managed the NGO's research portfolio in Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan.
