Job Description

Work on high-impact engagements that shape Digital Public Infrastructure systems at a population scale, influencing how they serve millions. Your research will directly inform high-stakes decisions, while you engage closely with senior stakeholders to solve complex, real-world problems, especially for the poor and other vulnerable groups.

The Assistant Manager is expected to play a critical role in the delivery of different client engagements of MSC. This will broadly include the following:

  • Work on the intersection of technology, public policy, and social development;
  • Work closely with the government and private sector stakeholders in India and outside on different facets of technology policy that may include digital ID and e-KYC, data protection and privacy, regulatory sandboxes, and digital public goods (DPGs), etc.,;
  • Work on HealthTech, AgTech, and FinTech domains;


Work effectively and collaboratively on consulting engagements on technology policy with the government and private sector stakeholders in India and outside. This may include:

  • Understanding the problem and key requirements, conducting in-depth issue analysis, framing the practical recommendations, and, presenting the same to the client and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop high-quality notes, presentations, and reports as required in the different consulting engagements.
  • Attend the client and official meetings in India and outside.
  • Represent CRT and MSC at different workshops, conferences, and events in India and outside.


Requirements

The applicant should have a knack for technology policy that includes data protection and privacy, digital ID, data sharing, and regulatory sandboxes. They should also bring excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. The incumbent should also have the ability to lead small assignments under supervision, build client relationships, and contribute to business development. Strong attention to detail, field orientation, proven interpersonal skills, good spoken and written English.

Educational Qualifications

  • MBA, master’s in public policy, and other related streams. B.Tech (preferred)
