London climate action week (LCAW) is one of the world’s leading climate gatherings, bringing together climate professionals and changemakers to accelerate global action. The 2025 edition will convene cross-sector leaders to drive transformative change and spark bold ideas for a sustainable future.
Explore how financial institutions are reshaping strategies to manage climate risk, with a lens on equity and sustainability.
FIF began in 2005 as the microfinance club, part of the UK’s involvement in the UN year of microcredit. In 2015, the club became the Financial Inclusion Forum (FIF), a non-profit platform that exists to inspire engagement and action toward a financially inclusive world where everyone has the financial tools and capability to build a healthy and productive life.
FIF promotes global financial inclusion by encouraging knowledge exchange, collaboration, and debate, and highlighting best practices through its London-based events and publications. It organizes free, live events featuring expert speakers to share sustainable, innovative, and scalable financial inclusion solutions for professionals, practitioners, investors, academics, and students.
The climate innovation for adaptation and resilience (CIFAR) alliance brings together leading financial service providers, donor agencies, and thought leaders on climate finance. The alliance is dedicated to advancing innovative climate solutions for vulnerable people and the planet.
It promotes equity and inclusivity by addressing the needs of low-income populations most affected by climate change. CIFAR provides a collaborative environment for inclusive innovation in climate action, supports knowledge exchange, and fosters cross-sector partnerships. Its focus on resilience and adaptation helps build sustainable solutions for a more climate-resilient future.
