MSC studied how norms around mobility impact women’s access to DBT funds in India. We learned that mobility remains severely restricted for women compared to men. Moreover, several factors influence mobility, including household income, age, and caste.

Our study analyzed the channels most successful in disseminating information around DBT. We found that most women prefer learning about schemes in person. Surprisingly, only a small minority learned scheme details through mass media.
