Shobhit is a Senior Manager and Sector Lead for Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance capability at MSC India. He has more than a decade of experience across digital financial services, MSME finance, inclusive product design, livelihood finance, and financial ecosystem development. His work spans India, South Asia, and East Africa, where he has supported institutions in translating strategic priorities into practical and scalable solutions.

At MSC, Shobhit works with commercial banks, NBFCs, microfinance institutions, insurers, investors, governments, and development partners. His expertise includes financial product and delivery model design, customer and market research, institutional strengthening, enterprise finance, and ecosystem partnerships. He has led programs focused on expanding access to affordable and responsible financial services for low-income households, women entrepreneurs, MSMEs, producer groups, and rural communities.

Shobhit has also worked extensively on community institution building, livelihood promotion, social protection, and government-led development programs. He brings a strong understanding of how formal financial services, including credit, savings, insurance, and digital finance, can be linked with enterprise and livelihood opportunities to create sustainable economic outcomes. His approach is evidence-based, human-centred, and grounded in customer needs and market realities.

Shobhit holds an engineering degree, a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Services from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai, and an Executive Programme in FinTech, Banking, and Applied Risk Management from IIM Lucknow.
