TVS Ravi is a Partner and Regional Lead for MSC’s Africa Operations. He brings more than 19 years of deep expertise at the intersection of inclusive financial services, agriculture and food systems, and digital inclusion.

Ravi has led high-impact advisory engagements for governments, financial service providers, regulators, and global philanthropies across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Senegal, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines. He has advised on the design of financial products for women, youth, and smallholder farmers, and has helped digitally transform inclusive finance institutions, develop market systems for smallholder value chains, and reform government social protection payment systems to be more efficient and equitable. 

Ravi’s areas of expertise include agri-value chain transformation, financial product design for underserved segments, strategic business planning, project management, and social research. He has guided institutions and governments on the delivery of inclusive, scalable, and context-relevant financial and agricultural solutions across diverse geographies. 

Before MSC, he served as a development professional in Central India, where he advanced microfinance access and livelihood opportunities for low-income communities. He led the rollout of a community-based microfinance program and spearheaded private-sector development initiatives, which included agricultural produce aggregation services, sanitation finance, and dairy finance products.
