Shantanu Mishra is a public health and policy professional with more than seven years of experience at the intersection of health systems, nutrition, evidence generation, and public policy in low- and middle-income settings. His work spans research, monitoring and evaluation, policy advocacy, and systems strengthening, with a focus on translating evidence into actionable strategies for governments, donors, and implementing partners.

Shantanu holds an MSc in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine as a Chevening Scholar, and an undergraduate degree in Biomolecular Engineering and Psychology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), USA. He has led and supported complex engagements across public health, nutrition, food systems, and non-communicable diseases, including national advocacy efforts, market and systems assessments, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and government-facing strategies to improve service delivery and institutional coordination. Across roles at Partnerships for Impact (P4i), Oxford Policy Management, Triggerise, and research organizations, he has worked extensively with governments, donors, and private sector stakeholders to design scalable, evidence-informed interventions in health and nutrition systems. His experience spans nutrition, fortified foods, digital health, sexual and reproductive health, social accountability, and inclusive public systems. It shows a strong focus on implementation feasibility, systems strengthening, and the translation of research into practical policy and programmatic action.
