Tamara Cook is the Head of Digital Innovations at FSD Kenya. She manages retail innovations and consumer insights. Prior to this, Tamara spent seven years on the Financial Services for the Poor team of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she led the foundation’s work in Kenya on Digital Financial Services and managed a global portfolio of grants and loans supporting financial institutions reaching the poor. She has also spent ten years working with CGAP, including a year-long assignment with Equity Bank in Kenya. Tamara has an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
