Essential Skills

The candidate should have hands-on experience in high-level programming languages (Java, .NET, Python), RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL), API documentation tools (Swagger), event-driven, distributed, and API-first architecture. Also, should have expertise in security, SSO, backup/archiving, SLA, stakeholder coordination, architecture/design communication, large-scale integration, mentoring, and self-development.

Description

The Solution Architect will be required on a large scale integration of technical components and collaborating multiple stakeholders as well as the implementation of digital public platforms. The work will involve:

Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders that includes government officials, domain experts, vendors of affiliated software partners, subordinates and Sr. Management
  • Architecture and Design communication
  • Lead large scale integration of multiple components from different vendors
  • Mentor and advocate best standards, policies and practices in software development or integration.
  • Assist and support development of other staff by providing guidance and advice where appropriate,
  • Take ownership of self-development by acquiring skills and knowledge which add value to the organization.

Business Development:

  • Build relationships with existing and potential clients in the payments and distribution domain such as banks, mobile financial service providers, mobile network operators, fintech’s, start-ups, and government think-tanks and regulators,
  • Take initiatives to develop client relationships to develop a pipeline of projects in the different domain that MSC works
  • Represent MSC at conferences etc.
  • Author / co-author of thematic publications to be developed from field experiences (Focus notes/briefing notes)
  • Actively engage in marketing activities such as workshops, international events, and plenary discussions.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering or MCA
  • Professional Certificate in any of the discipline like Networking, Security, Big Data, Integration etc.
  • TOGAF / Enterprise Architecture related professional certification
  • Any other qualification in the areas of specialization.

Desired skills and competences:

  • Should be hands on with programming, architecture style, aspect programming
  • Should have exposure to stakeholder management and business development in the areas of operation.
