Lead and manage consulting engagements on technology policy and innovation, particularly on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) in India and internationally. This includes:
Client handling and project management
Understanding client requirements, conducting in-depth issue analysis, framing practical recommendations, and presenting them to clients and stakeholders
Providing implementation support for initiatives such as Innovation Labs, Hackathons, etc.
Manage teams of Senior Analysts, Analysts, and Associates as required for engagement delivery
Develop high-quality notes, presentations, and reports for various consulting engagements
Attend client and official meetings in India and abroad
Represent CRT and MSC at workshops, conferences, and other events in India and abroad
Identify new business development opportunities by staying updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging client needs
Engage with donors and stakeholders to create concept notes and proposals for new engagements
Lead the development of high-quality pitch decks, concept notes, and proposals for potential clients
Drive the creation of thought leadership and knowledge products such as whitepapers, policy briefs, and blogs
Plan and lead digital campaigns, including webinars on MSC’s focus areas
Mentor Senior Analysts, Analysts, and Associates to strengthen their consulting and delivery skills
Undertake relevant courses and training to deepen expertise in DPI, artificial intelligence, innovation, and sandboxes
Contribute to team-building activities and actively provide and seek feedback from team members
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics and Communication) – Preferred
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or Law – Preferred
Other relevant professional qualifications in technology policy and innovation
10–15 years of experience in management consulting, government advisory, technology policy, or innovation management
Prior experience with a consulting firm or think tank working at the intersection of technology and public policy, or with institutions engaged in digital governance
Strong understanding of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is preferred
Strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and problem-solving skills
Excellent client handling, business development, and project management abilities
Proven capability to lead teams and assignments with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
