Business
Execution
Lead
or assist with the planning and implementation of medium/large technical
assistance assignments.
Conduct
assignment set-up and de-briefings of assignments where s/he is responsible.
Build
rapport with various contact points at the client organization for the
successful execution of assignments.
Plan
and execute assignments with utmost due diligence.
Oversee
and contribute towards the process of data & information analysis and
report writing. Design and support development of climate-resilient financial products,
including parametric insurance solutions for agriculture and renewable energy
sectors
Support
development of automated payout mechanisms leveraging AI, satellite/weather
data, and digital infrastructure.
Conduct
climate risk modelling and scenario testing for financial portfolios to assess
vulnerabilities and resilience.
Develop
and apply climate risk assessment frameworks for financial institutions,
integrating physical and transition risks.
Business
Development
Build
relationships with existing and potential clients.
Take
initiatives to develop concept notes and new ideas.
Develop
and submit proposals to generate business for the domain
Represent
MSC at conferences etc.
Author
/co-author of thematic publications to be developed from field experiences
(Focus notes/briefing notes).
Actively
engage in marketing activities and participate in digital media dialogues
(blogs, discussion forums etc.).
Contribute
to development of blended finance and climate risk finance solutions, including
insurance-linked instruments and risk-sharing structures.
Support
positioning of the organization in climate finance, insurance innovation, and
resilience-building solutions across markets.

Conduct
“Quality of Delivery”/feedback assessments with team members after assignment
execution in line with the quality control guidelines.
Assist
and support development of other staff by providing guidance and advice where
appropriate. Share knowledge with staff and create opportunities for mentoring.
Take
ownership of self-development by acquiring skills and knowledge which add value
to the organization.
Build
internal capacity on climate risk analytics, parametric insurance design, and
regulatory considerations for climate-smart financial products.
Experience in climate risk finance, insurance (incl.
parametric products) & blended finance; understanding of climate risk
modelling, geospatial/satellite data and financial analytics; familiarity with
insurance and climate finance regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications
Master's level degree (or higher) in
Business/Economics/Sociology or related fields from a reputed institute

relevant professional qualifications in line with areas of specialization
