Kim Kariuki

Associate Partner

Kim Kariuki is an Associate Partner in MSC Anglophone Africa. He works in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a specialist with more than 15 years of experience gained through projects with commercial banks, international funding agencies, and MFIs. He has worked in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Zambia. His expertise includes project management, behavioral research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), data analysis, sales, business development, relationship management, and microfinance. He specializes in product design, concept testing, prototyping, and pilot testing. He is also a certified PRINCE2 practitioner. Before joining MSC, Kim was the Director of Integrated Projects at Dalberg Research, where he led the firm’s business development and partnership management efforts. He holds a Master’s in Agriculture and Rural Development from Kenya Methodist Universityin Nairobi, Kenya. He is fluent in English and Kiswahili.

In his role as the BFSI Lead for Africa, Kim uses his skills, networks, and expertise to orchestrate opportunities for new work across the continent. MSC’s expansive global reach and capabilities complement his efforts.

Before he joined MSC, Kim served as the Director of Integrated Projects at Dalberg Research, where he led the firm’s business development and partnership management efforts. Kim holds a Master’s in Agriculture and Rural Development from Kenya Methodist University in Nairobi. He is fluent in English and Kiswahili.
