Lois Eva Adongo is a Senior Manager in MSC’s Banking and Financial Services and Insurance capability, with over 15 years of experience in financial inclusion, program management, and market development across South Africa, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Haiti, Afghanistan, and more.

She is currently contributing to the development of Kenya’s first ever National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS), focusing on supporting special interest groups, and leading projects in Uganda to assess MSME digitalization and device financing. Additionally, she is enhancing the financial health of women-owned microenterprises in South Africa and conducting a diagnostic assessment of a social media platform for entrepreneurs in Kenya. Her previous work includes leading a $14 million public resource management project in Somalia, managing a $13 million agricultural trade initiative in Kenya, and coordinating a $1 million agricultural finance program in Uganda.
Her areas of expertise include market insights for innovation and development, project management, program design and evaluation, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), microfinance, SME finance, financial inclusion, agricultural finance, and financial sector development. She specializes in resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and the integration of technology in the real economy.
