Partho Patwari is a Senior Manager in MSC’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance capability, with over 24 years of experience in the sector. He holds a first-class master’s degree in Economics, specializing in Econometrics.

Partho specializes in research, training, institutional development, change management, and project implementation. Recently, he worked closely with the RBI Moneywise CFL project, managing multiparty partnerships with commercial banks to promote financial awareness across 10 states and union territories. For over a decade, he played a pivotal role at the Centre for Microfinance & Livelihood (CML), an associate of Tata Trusts, influencing policy for small microfinance organizations in Northeast India. He has also worked extensively with grass-root non-governmental organizations in formulating their policies and process; and support in research for project formulations. Earlier in his career, he provided technical consulting support to MFIs, focusing on risk-efficiency management, standardization, audits, and compliance.
