Priyam is an Associate in MSC’s FinTech, Digital Lending, and Platforms sector in India. His experience spans multiple countries, including India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Kenya, and Bangladesh. He specializes in financial inclusion initiatives, digital financial services analysis, and strategic assessments for underserved markets.

Priyam has led and contributed to several significant projects. These include the development of women-specific savings products for the India Post Payments Bank and a comprehensive financial analysis for Kenya’s premier social media platform, MESH. He has also helped strengthen responsible finance practices through the Asian Development Bank’s initiatives in the Philippines.

He has supported core banking system (CBS) implementation for TLM Cooperative Bank in Indonesia, enhancing operational efficiency and digitization for cooperative financial institutions. Additionally, he contributed to a multi-country research initiative on the adoption of digital tools among small and medium merchants and enterprises in India, in collaboration with Busara and funded by the Gates Foundation (formerly BMGF).

His expertise encompasses financial analysis, market research, digital payments ecosystems, gender-lens consulting, and financial literacy program implementation. As part of Priyam’s recent work, he has analyzed policy frameworks for nano and microenterprises, helped develop strategic recommendations for financial institutions, and promoted financial inclusion through community platforms.
