Amir is the Senior Development Effectiveness Specialist at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Saudi Arabia. He has also been a Specialist at UNICEF and the World Bank.

Amir was an Analyst at MSC where he supported, designed, and executed projects on branch less banking, mobile money and Government to Person payments. He is currently the Senior Development Effectiveness Specialist at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Saudi Arabia. Before leaving MSC, Amir worked as a Specialist at UNICEF and the World Bank. He was also the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD).
