Sushma Kaw
Sushma Kaw is a Manager in MSC’s Inclusive Finance Ecosystem team with over twelve years of experience in livelihood, skill development and financial inclusion. She has worked with Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), GoI, Mission Convergence (Govt. of NCT Delhi), and MP State Skill Development & Employment Generation Board, with expertise in market research, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, business process re-engineering, and SOP writing. Her recent work includes supporting NITI Aayog under the Aspirational Blocks Programme (funded by BMGF) to design interventions, analyse field insights, and provide solutions for enhancing financial inclusion of particularly vulnerable tribal groups. Her key contributions include serving as a MoRD committee member to develop an appraisal matrix for evaluating skill development proposals, designing monitoring and evaluation templates for DDU-GKY, conducting a diagnostic study of the HIMAYAT scheme under the Prime Minister’s Development Package, and user testing MoRD’s ERP for real-time monitoring. She holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resources Management from TERI University and is fluent in English and Hindi.
