Kunal Sharma

Assistant Manager

Kunal is an Assistant manager in MSC’s Data and Insights Domain in India. He is a researcher with over two years of experience gained through projects with international funding agencies, corporates and community-based institutions in India. His areas of expertise include project management, programme design and evaluation, primary quantitative and qualitative research and M&E. He specialises in research tool development, data analysis and report writing.

A few examples of his recent work are as follows:
  • Support women entrepreneurs by introducing gender-inclusive products– a project funded by BMGF in Bangladesh for addressing the gender gap in financial inclusion and to develop gender-inclusive financial products for women entrepreneurs. (2022 - ongoing)
  • Study on assessing climate resilience of smallholder farmers in Bihar – an internal MSC project aimed at assessing the smallholder farmers' resilience against climate change on a developed set of metrics. (2023 - ongoing)
Before joining MSC, Kunal was a Research manager at Kantar Public where he undertook various roles, from setting up and managing research studies to analysis, report preparation and dissemination of findings.  He holds master’s degree with specialisation in development management from IIFM, Bhopal in PGDFM. He is fluent in Hindi and English.
