Shivansh Gupta is an Associate in MSC’s Digital Financial Services- Payments and Distribution domain in India. His areas of expertise include- conducting primary and secondary research, project design and evaluation, formulating business plans and pitch decks for early-stage start-ups, and preparing research proposals and concept notes for various think tanks and public policy institutes

A few examples of his recent work are as follows:
  • Represented MSC at the United Nations Sustainable Development Conference in January 2023, New Delhi
  • Supported a Fintech start-up in India on product development and marketing under the Financial Inclusion Lab, supported by JP Morgan (2022-2023)
  • Supported a Healthtech start-up in the area of business development under the i3 program, in Vietnam.
  • Supported in drafting the diagnostic report for the Micro Finance Institution Network to enhance the digital collection of loan repayments.
  • Formulated a Research proposal that was submitted to ERIA (Economic Research Institute for ASEAN in Jakarta) on the topic “COVID-19 and Regional Economic Integration” during his Summer Internship with United Nations Global Compact in the year. (2020).
  • Carried out in-depth research and prepared extensive reports on the Toy Manufacturing and Gems and Jewellery segment during his Summer Internship with KPMG in the year. (2021)
Before joining MSC, Shivansh worked as an Intern in various organizations like KPMG India, United Nations Global Compact, An agro-based start-up in Gurgaon, a Pro-Bono consulting firm in London, he has closely worked with an IAS officer (U.P cadre) on the Rural transformation mission. He completed his graduation in Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Economics from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, India in the year 2022. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
