Job Description
This role operates at the critical intersection of banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI) and gender considerations, driving strategic initiatives to advance comprehensive financial inclusion. The incumbent will serve as a key member in client engagement strategies while collaborating across multilateral organizations, government entities, and private sector partners to deliver transformative projects that address gender disparities in financial access and participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Project support • Support end-to-end project conceptualization, development, and implementation within the BFSI sector, ensuring all initiatives incorporate robust gender-sensitive frameworks and methodologies • Engage in project lifecycles from initial stakeholder consultations through to impact assessment and sustainability planning.
Gender integration & advisory services • Provide specialized guidance on gender-responsive approaches to financial product design, service delivery, awareness campaigns, and financial literacy programs. • Conduct gender analysis and risk assessments to identify barriers and opportunities for women's financial participation • Develop gender-sensitive indicators and measurement frameworks for financial inclusion initiatives.
Impact measurement & planning • Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation systems that capture gender-differentiated outcomes and long-term impact across all technical projects. • Establish baseline studies and conduct regular assessments to track progress on gender equality objectives within financial inclusion programs.
Knowledge management & capacity building • Execute the development, production, and dissemination of high-quality research publications, policy briefs, case studies, and best practice guides on gender and financial inclusion • Support in design and facilitate knowledge-sharing events, workshops, and training programs for diverse stakeholder audiences.
