Manager
Edward O. Obiko is a Manager in MSC’s Digital Financial Services Domain. He has eight years of experience in digital financial services, product innovations, and web and mobile solution integration. He has hands-on experience on development, piloting, user experience iterations, and evaluation of mobile banking and payments services for back-end as well as front-end systems.
Edward has been extensively involved in conducting market research for digital financial services, institutional assessments to launch DFS, channel development, and innovative product development using human-centered design. He also specializes in developing marketing and communications strategies, pilot test planning, reviewing IT platforms, developing business processes, media planning, and creative communication strategies including social media optimization.
Before joining MSC, Edward worked with Bank of Africa Kenya (BOA-K) where he was responsible for first and second-level technical support for electronic and mobile banking solutions across various platforms. At BOA-K, Edward also worked with a wide variety of functional areas, such as sales, marketing, and operations to develop and provide product development support that was responsive to customer needs and market opportunities. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with specialization in Telecommunications. He is also an MSc. Candidate in Telecommunications and Mobile Innovation at Strathmore University. He is proficient in English and Swahili.
