He is an AFS professional with seven years of experience. He has worked on donor-funded programs and consulting assignments with national and county governments, international donors, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), agribusinesses, cooperatives, and farmer organizations across Africa and the Global South. At MSC, he helps implement million-dollar programs funded by the World Bank and the Mastercard Foundation. These programs span farmer-led irrigation, market systems development, financial capacity development, agricultural value chain development, and inclusive fisheries markets for women and youth. His areas of expertise include project management, digital agriculture, climate-smart agriculture (CSA), green finance, smallholder farming systems and value chains, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). His expertise also extends to the blue economy, aquaculture, and business development.. He has authored publications on digital agriculture, climate-smart agriculture, and smallholder farming in Africa, and has represented MSC at national and international forums. Before his tenure at MSC, Emmanuel worked at the Micro Enterprises Support Program Trust (MESPT), where he led the implementation of donor-funded agri-livelihood development programs in Kenya. He also worked at Finance in Motion, where he oversaw technical development and impact finance funds in the Global South. Previously, he worked at Moving Frontiers, a consulting firm with operations across Eastern Africa. He also worked at the Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC), where he delivered multimillion-dollar market systems development and smallholder capacity-building programs across Africa.. Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness Economics and Food Industry Development from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Nairobi, Kenya.
