Violet Njeri Kamau

Violet is an Associate in the Digital Financial Services (DFS) capability at the Nairobi office of MSC (MicroSave Consulting) in Africa.

She is a DFS professional with more than five years of experience in digital finance, financial inclusion, relationship management, digital payments, and customer experience. Her work spans Kenya, Rwanda, Malawi, Ghana, Nigeria, and Ethiopia, where she has supported projects for clients and development partners. These include the Gates Foundation, the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), Access to Finance Rwanda, the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), and the Nigeria Governors’ Forum. Her expertise includes DFS, agent and merchant networks, cash-in cash-out (CICO) models, digital channels, customer acquisition and product uptake, financial inclusion research, and customer experience. At MSC, she has supported assignments on female agent networks, CICO expansion, digital public infrastructure, and research on financial inclusion. Before she joined MSC, Violet worked at Family Bank Limited, where she supported digital channels, agency and merchant banking, customer onboarding, product uptake, and customer service. Violet holds a Bachelor of Education Arts degree from Kenyatta University and is fluent in English and Swahili.
