Piyush Poddar is a Consultant in MSC’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance domain in India.

Piyush has more than eight years of experience through projects in government administrative setups and the banking industry in the diverse geographies of India and states, such as Bihar, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. His areas of expertise include digital and alternative banking channels, project management, market research, impact evaluation, microfinance, stakeholder management, budgeting, process reengineering, and monitoring. Before joining MSC, Piyush was a senior manager at AU Small Finance Bank Limited (India), leading the financial inclusion and financial literacy initiatives. Before MSC and AU SFB, he also worked with IDFC FIRST Bank Limited (India) in their Digital Payment and Alternative Banking Channel (DPAC) in Jaipur. Further, he also worked with Rajasthan Grameen Aajevika Vikas Parishad as a Consultant for digital financial inclusion and Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS) as a young professional. He is a computer science graduate and holds a post-graduate diploma specializing in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Jaipur.
