Rajarshi is an Associate Partner in MSC’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance capability. He also leads the Catalytic Finance body of work. He has more than 16 years of experience and has worked to advance financial inclusion, MSME finance, and catalytic finance solutions across Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. His expertise spans product development, digital transformation, and the design of blended-finance and climate-resilience mechanisms to mobilize public and private capital for impact. He has experience in structuring multistakeholder programs with governments, donors, and financial institutions to scale access to finance, enable digital transformation, and strengthen market ecosystems for small enterprises and vulnerable communities. Rajarshi has worked in several countries, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, the Philippines, Kenya, Rwanda, and Mozambique. He specializes in program design, capacity building, digital transformation, product development, process reengineering, strategic planning, and portfolio management. Rajarshi has earned a Bachelor’s in Technology in IT from IIIT Kolkata and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Conservation and Livelihoods Management from IIFM Bhopal. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Assamese, and Bengali.
