Rajesh Aggarwal completed his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Delhi (1983-87). He drifted to Indian Administrative service in 1989.

Rajesh Aggarwal completed his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Delhi (1983-87) and joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1989. He has served in various positions in Maharashtra and Delhi and has written a number of papers on e-Governance, and handled large number of e-Governance projects. He is into Big data Analytics on various Citizen databases, for weeding out bogus beneficiaries and targeting subsidies to genuine beneficiaries. He also advocates the use of eGovernance and use of technology to reduce or remove corruption.
